This leadership-focused and market-facing role offers exposure to complex securitisation and structured credit transactions across multiple asset classes. As a Director, you will take ownership of high-profile transactions, lead analytical workstreams, and play a key role in shaping opinions and market commentary across Australia and New Zealand. The position provides both local and Asia-Pacific exposure, global connectivity, and the chance to mentor analysts while consolidating your career within a respected global institution. The Challenge In this Director role, your responsibilities will include: Leading the analysis and monitoring of structured finance and securitisation programmes, ensuring quality and timely outcomes Overseeing transaction performance and reviewing complex financial models to support rigorous assessments Preparing and reviewing presentations, reports, and external market insights Presenting recommendations to senior committees and external stakeholders Acting as a primary contact for arrangers, investors, issuers, and advisers, representing the business in the market Mentoring junior team members and supporting their technical development Driving strategic initiatives, thought leadership, and cross-border collaboration within the Asia-Pacific team The Expertise To be successful in this role, you will bring: 7–10 years’ experience in structured finance, ideally from a credit, risk, or analytics background at a bank, arranger, issuer, investor, trustee, or consultancy Deep knowledge of securitisation structures, transaction documentation, and financial modelling Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent the firm externally Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience guiding and mentoring junior staff A relevant degree in finance, economics, or accounting; CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications highly regarded A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and ability to influence outcomes in a fast-paced environment The Next Step If this position will enhance your career and you would like further details on the client, the role, remuneration, or a copy of the position description, please call Lachlan Kiel for a confidential discussion on 0477 574 366.
